Circat neix l’any 2013 com a projecte final de carrera a Elisava. La
recerca de possibles millores pel sector del circ català em va portar
a plantejar un site que unifiqués espectacles i companyies
en un únic portal web i que alhora servís com a banc de re-
cursos i una pràctica eina de promoció i expansió. Ja que un
dels principals objectius era fer una plataforma que pogués donar
sortida internacional als espectacles catalans. Vaig presentar el
projecte a la Generalitat de Catalunya, a l’Institut Ramón Llulli i a l’APCC
i va apostar per fer-lo realitat com a prova pilot per, en un futur, poder
implementar el model web a altres disciplines.
Avui dia Circat ja és una realitat.

Circat was born in 2013 as a final project in Elisava. The search for possible improvements in the Catalan circus sector led me to propose a web that could unify shows and companies and at the same time could serve as a resource bank and a practical tool for promotion and expansion of the Catalan circus. The main goal was to provide a platform that could spread the Catalan shows abroad. I presented the project to the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Institut Ramon Llull and the APCC and decided to make it a reality as a pilot test in order to, in the future, be able to implement the model in other disciplines’ websites.
Today Circat has become real.
